There are quite plenty of business activities vulnerable to bribery and corruption. Some of the examples include:

  • Marketing and sales.

In marketing and sales, the risk of bribery may occur when obtaining confidential company information. This includes its relation to tenders, which affects business at large.

  • Supply chain management.

Bribes can take the form of receipts from suppliers and brokers, logistics, and the issuance of a Sailing Approval Letter.

  • Financial function.

A finance division employee can be bribed to obtain their companyโ€™s financial information, steal their data, or conduct other fraudulent activities. Once the financial information is obtained, it will endanger the company.
